glxgrears is giving me warning about DRI module, so I disabled it
from XF86config. Should/Can I use both glx & dri modules with Nvidia
based card or is glx enough?

Quoting the installation instructions, the "dri" is to be removed from your XF86Config, so yes, glx is enough.
