Hi all,
I recently just switched from Red Hat 9 to Fedora Core 4 because I was told it was easier to set up dual monitors with it. I am using a dual head Radeon 7000 VE card (not sure what the VE means, that's what it was detected as).
The problem I had with Red Hat was that when it booted up in Xwndows, the second monitor went black. Well, now, with Fedora, it comes up, but with the identical desktop as the first monitor, so half the problem is solved. I tried to go into the display properties and set it to stretch the desktop, but that doesn't seem to work either.
I am still VERY NEW to Linux, so if anyone can tell me how to set this up, that would be great. Talk to me like im an idiot, I don't care, lol. If there is a driver I need to install, or perhaps you could even recommend a different card that works right out-of-the-box (although I'd rather just use this one), that would be good too.
Anyway, thanks to anyone who can help me, I really really appriciate it :).
