Morning all,
I've recently installed Fedora on my Toshiba Tecra 8200 & inistially had a problem with display. I resolved this by copying in a different version of the Trident (I think) drive & editting the xorg.conf file. This worked fine & I was able to boot the laptop & use it as normal.
Yesterday I ran the Up2Date tool to update everything on the laptop (including the kernal) & now I'm getting the blank white screen on boot again. I tried booting into text mode & the Trident driver date had changed back to the old one, so I tried replacing it again, but this has not fixed the problem this time.
Anyone have any advice or experience with this kind of problem?
Any advice greatly received, as I am a Linux newbie.
Thanks,
T
