sound for a thinkpad 390X

Hi I have recently installed fedora onto my IBM Thinkpad 390x..everything runs great except the sound. I tryed using the sound detector program thing but that didn't work and just said that sound wouldnt work on this computer or something?

any help would be great thanx :)
