Hello,
I really have done something stupid...
Can someone help me out?
Instead off chmod -R 777 . i typed chmod -R 777 / .
I know if i reboot now, it will hang...
Someone know how to set the old settings back ?

The only way I know, is to backup all data, and either install again or restore from backup. Sorry to say, but some things done as root as VERY dangerous.

This is no option for me.
2 mutch data, and i cant have any downtime..
Only thing i maybe can do is to change every thing manualy :/ :mad:

Obviously changing everything is a method of recovering from this type of problem. Hope you have a week or two free, there are many,many files on a Linux server all with very unique file permissions.
I see where you are coming from with not tolerating the downtime, but chaning the permissions manually for everything is going to be an enormous effort.

I must say its only a part of it,
he was only 5sec bussy orso till i pressed ctrl+c.
But witch folders are realy nessesairy do?.
I suppose not every folder needs the same rights as they had before..
(srry for my bad english)
