file drag and drop problem

my problem is not a critical one, but if anyone can help, would be great.

im a web developer dat uses FC3 and bluefish editor. previously i was able to open a file simply by dragging a file from a file browser and drop it on the bluefish window. but all the sudden, cant recall whut i did to my machine, but i cant do dat anymore. does anyone know whuts wrong?
