Hi, I've found hints on here as to how to get this too work, but I'm kinda confused as it's all new to me.
So could anyone give me a step to step guide on wireless networks? Mostly it's been links to technical things.
Oh and the light isn't even coming on.
Oh yeah it's version 1.0 of the card. As I saw people saying some solutions only worked with version 2.0

If listed here: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List than you can install the ndiswrapper driver.

Some evidence suggests this is a prism54 card which is pretty easy. Please let us see the output of /sbin/lspci -vv with the card plugged in and we'll have a look-see.
The site my esteemed colleague ideemvp quotes even says its a prism54. You can search this site for many posts and check out prism54.org for their instructions.

Oh you can double verbose it? >.< I was wondering why lscpi wasn't giving that much info.
Will be a bit slow as I have to surf in windows, copy everything into a vfat swap partition then reboot in linux.

Ok it looks to be a prism54 but I can't get anything to compile.
At a guess it can't find some header files. Normal gcc errors for that.
Can't find header Using default
error function is overloaded
error function return type is wrong
so I got as far as unzipping the tarball archive, which had some cannot change the write permissions errors. But everything seemed to unpack.
Then when I
make clean modules
or
sudo make clean modules
or
make KDIR=/usr/src/2.6.11-1.errrrm clean modules
or
make KDIR=/usr/src/2.6.11-1.errrrm/modules or /build clean modules
Same no matter what.

I been watching too many old movies...
"Compile? Compile? We don't need no steenkeeng compile!"
You didn't say which version of Fedora you have, but if it is FC3 or FC4, prism54 is already there! After updatedb, do locate prism54 and see if you see:
/lib/modules/2.6.12-1.1398_FC4/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/prism54/prism54.ko
You just need the firmware and bring up the interface. Check here: http://www.sonnik.com/archives/000030.html
