Intel Pro/1000 MT Desktop only 100

I have a new load of Fedora core 4. It was working off the motherboards 100 speed built in NIC but then I put in a Intel Pro/1000 MT Desktop Adapter. The speed was the same. I have my Windows XP PC at 1000 and it's going though a Netgear GS105 gigabit switch. But the speed is just the same as the 100 speed Ethernet right on the motherboard.

The Netgear LED's are showing both my PC and Fedora PC both at 1000.

What can I do to get my Fedora to use the 1000 speed of the Intel Pro/1000 network card?

did you ever solve this problem? im having the exact same issue my intel 1000 is only running at 100 speeds (7-9 mbytes/sec) even though everything says its running at 1000.

No I never salved it. I just got a relteck gigabit network card.

But now that card stopped working. So I am using the 10/100 built right in the motherboard. I don't want to power it down because it has a uptime of about 10 months now.
