2 Sata Raid Drives 300gig each with a High Point Technologies 1520 SATA controller PCI card

To install windows on my computer I just popped in a driver disk when XP asked for it (I pressed f6), but now I can't get Fedora to recognize the drives or controller? I have the source code for the drivers that XP needed, but I don't know how to compile them and use them to install Fedora.

I have two (non-RAIDed) SATA HDD's that Fedora picks up, but a SATA DVD drive it doesn't. I thought about borrowing my FDD's IDE cable for the install to see if it would be recognised, but that plan was foiled when I found out the thing doesn't have an IDE connector... I've been searching around for info and this page (http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html) may be of use to you. I tried using the proper drivers that come up in the Select Driver dialog, but it either hangs or fails to recognise the drive. The times it is picked up (for reasons unknown), I get a "Fedora Core Installer media not found" message.
