Hi everyone.
I have FC4 on my computer (Pentium 4 at 1.7 GHz, 512 MB of RAM). I am trying to get my USB Wireless device (Orinoco 8425-WD) to work.
I am using ndiswrapper to run the drivers. I have the latest FC4 kernel (2.6.12-1.1390_FC4) with 16k stack (downloaded from linuxant.com) and am using the driver I am supposed to use with the Wireless USB device I have.
Whenever I run the ndiswrapper with the wireless card it works, but it is unstable and my keyboard goes funky. My CPU usage stays around 10% but my keyboard lags.
I have tried switching keyboards and that didnt work. Before I turned keyboard repeat off it would raaaaaaaaaaannnnnnndommmmly rrrrrrrrrrrepeat lettttttttters. I have no clue why I am having this problem.
This problem has been seen by others (see http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/lofiversion/index.php/t14066.html) but I did not notice anyone having a solution.
Please help! Thanks!
