I'm wondering if this is possible: I don't have a DVD player on my pc but want the ability to play some of my DVDs through my TV's DVD player which has RCA jacks. Maybe I need a new video card that has RCA jacks?

You mean you want to play them on your tv using the auxiliary rca inputs? If it had a dvd player you wouln't need anything ;)
Check out http://www.videohelp.com/play for information on tv-out cards and such.

PC DVD players are hard to find anymore without burning capability. If I can find a pc DVD player, I may use that. My TV DVD player has s-video, so I could also buy a video card with s-video on it. I've been told that a player would be cheaper and gives me the added capability of playing DVD data.
If I had a DVD data player inside my pc and use my CD burner to burn a DVD iso-would the DVD player be able to boot the DVD iso?
