I have had my XP installed on my machine for a few months. I have since installed Core 4 on a different HDD and it installed Grub. It found my XP install because I was able to rename it during the Fedora install. Once it was done installing I then rebooted and when it started up it loaded XP and Grub never came up for me to pick which OS I wanted to run. I have the following bootup order:

CDROM
HD-0
Floppy
Other Enabled

I tried changing the HD to all my other drives as show below:

HD-0 loaded XP
HD-1 just hung and didn't say anything
HD-2 said bad OS and didn't load
HD-3 loaded XP

Thanks

You need to install grub on the master of 1st controller and set it up that it points to FC4 hdd/partition
