Has anyone successfully installed mac-on-linux via Fedora Core 4 on a Mac Mini?

I just finished buning the DVD. I'm going to wait until I hear if airport works and whether the cooling fan ever stops spinning.

This is my first Mac (since the Apple II E) - and I dont want to be a guinea pig.

It is possible though:

If you go ahead with it, let us know how you went :-)

Good luck.

good luck with your install. i have in fact successfully installed fc 4 on my mac mini and also reinstalled mac osx on a separate partition, so i can attest that all that works. however, what i have not been successful with is compiling the software package mol (mac-on-linux) (http://www.maconlinux.org/) which would allow me to run the mac os and osx apps from within linux.

Thanks for letting me know FC4 works on the Mini.

lol - I assumed Mac-on-Linux was your poor English, I had no idea that it was a program! Foot meet mouth.

I like the idea - thanks for the link.
