I was looking for a nice start page for my Firefox web browser that fits in nicely with my new favorite distro (Fedora Core 4.) And I couldn’t find one. So I made my own. It is now my homepage. ;)

Really cool! I made it my new start page. Thank you!
Can you do so that the cursor goes to the google search box at the page startup? Enter key doesn't work either (in the search box).

Hey,
It's REALLY nice. But, I was wondering, how'd you get the logos? I've been looking for RedHat logos like that one to use on my site. (Idealy I'd like to have a "Powered by Fedora" logo icon. I found one, but I got it from another page... I've been looking for awhile, can you please tell my where you found those?

Thanks to all for your nice comments. I made the left the hat red because blue isnt official. If you'd like a blue one then fell free to download to source and change the color to blue.
Any time you need a logo use Wikipedia! It's your best friend next to Google.

And Its a good idea to make the search box automatically take focus but how would I go about doing so? Does anyone know? :(
Again. Thank you all for your comments.

Okay changed some minor things.
1.Search feild is now larger.
2.Search button is now to the right of the search feild just like Google's defualt. (Not the Google homepage. Google's WebSearch)
3. Search feild is now a couple pixels above. And a few other things have been moved a couple pixels.
I need help with getting the search feild to take focus. I looked at google's code and they use Java Script. Im not experienced in that feild at all. :(

Well the red hat isn't the official logo of Fedora Core Linux anyway, it's RedHat's official logo :)
The only thing "official" is the Fedora core text logo -> http://fedora.redhat.com/images/header-fedora_logo.png

Useful idea. Couple of things:
1. Groups spelled wrong.
2. Change your body tag to:
<body onload="document.forms[0].q.focus();">
This should change focus to the search field.

It would be a good idea if this can be hosted by http://fedoraproject.org/fedora"X"/Fedora-Start.html

Just a small suggestion, if you are hosting a website (http) remove your limitations. I can see why for an FTP server but for general webs... I don't think they are needed.

I don't think that he hosts it himself as www.3qhost.com provides hosting.

Are the source files still on your site? Had to reinstall FC4 a few weeks ago and cannot find the link on your site.....
