Guys,

I have a old webcam with me and I would like to use it with My linux (FC2). Windoz had automatically detected this cam and I had to manually install its driver and it is working fine there. However, in Linux it has not detected. Before doing something stupid myself, I wanted your thoughts on how to proceed...

BTW the cam I am trying to integrate is PRO-Q make, M6200 model.

Thanks in advance

Maverick

Do you have any idea what kind of chipset is in it? Running "lspci" with it plugged in sometimes shows something interesting.

If I remember correctly the chipcet is Intel 810DST. Let me go home and check up the lspci part...
