FC4 Final BugList

Ok as my DSL is quite flakey I havent been able to thoroughly test out FC4 yet until tommorrow..... Anyhow so what have those people found out so far about bugs and stability with FC4 that have acquired them from unlocked servers? From this sub-forum it appears the problems so far is some compiling problems with GCC4 and NVIDIA installation is slightly different. But are there any other problems or major bugs? Also, is MadWifi included now with FC4? I've been waiting weeks to upgrade to FC4, and I just want to make sure I wont have any major conflicts installing it on my main work machine.... 6600GT PCI Express, AMD 64bit nForce4, x86_64 version of FC4 tommorrow via torrent ill download. We will not know until we actually try it. When fc3 was released it had a broken or buggy kernel because pc would not shutdown. So it hard to say....and about the madwifi drivers I hope they are included but if not you can always install via yum. (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=43718)

Well many people have downloaded it early which is why I asked about problems... If madwifi isnt included but I beleive somewheres they were, ill just do what I did with FC3 and install from CVS.

I owuld hold off a week or three. Installed FC4 last night, quite disappointed witht he number of bugs that plague me still. Bring on the updates!

1) openoffice fails to open just a seg fault.
2) fails to shutdown, lights turn off but fans are still running, been doing it since kernel 2.6.10 i think.
3) wine fails to compile.... dunno if its a FC4 thing but it compiled fine on FC3 yesterday
other than that so far so good, cant wait till they turn on their yum servers.

i think I will wait a week or soo too. Gonna put it on my laptop sometime (for testing - before I decide if I want to put it on my server or now), but I don't know when.

My soundcard ( Ensoniq 5880 AudioPCI)has unbearable noisy background sound of electric current :(

xmms and realplayer can't work at the same time,while in test3 it is fine :(
