No Sound in fedora core 4

media plays but i got no sound at all. FC4 x86_64. sound card detection tool detects the correct card but no sound when i click test, and i have to force quit the program. everything is unmuted. can someone please help me!

im still getting fc4-64bit but if its anything like the previous version especially with ac97 sound run alsamixer from the console as roon and unmute everything and turn the volumes all the way up and then adjust once you can hear stuff

everything is maxxed and unmuted.... still nothing

not sure then.. ive got a similar sound device.. if you still need an answer i will let you know in about 5 hours when mine gets done downloading and installing.
