I installed libnbj and Gnomad2 on my system about a month ago and it worked fine. Now however I am having a strange problem.
First of all I am running Fedora Core 3 with the latest version which I belive is 2.6.11-1. When I attach my Zen Touch to my on board USB 2.0 ports, I receive this in my /var/log/messages log:
Jun 6 21:46:08 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: device not accepting address 5, error -71
Jun 6 21:46:12 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 19
Jun 6 21:46:12 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: device not accepting address 19, error -71
Jun 6 21:46:14 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 26
Jun 6 21:46:14 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: device not accepting address 26, error -71
Jun 6 21:46:15 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 28
Jun 6 21:46:15 localhost kernel: usb 1-4: device not accepting address 28, error -71
It will keep trying over and over for new addresses and keep getting rejected.
I have read that it has something to do with the IRQ and the inturrupts to the PCI device or something of that nature.
However the strange thing is when I put in my PCMCIA USB2.0 hub in it works 100% of the time. I have seen other messages like this that dealt with usb mass storage devices but I have not yet found anything that would solve this problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do??
