I just installed the new ATI drivers from ATI, which <shocked> installed cleanly and worked. But, now when I log off to shut down, that logoff screen is so big, it only shows a portion of the username/password box, and I can't see the options to shutdown, reboot, etc. to click on them because they are not visible. My default screen resolution is set to 1024 x 768 x 24 bit.
Any ideas how to correct his?
Thanks :)

I had this issue in FC1 and FC2, but FC3 fixed it. My solution (temporary) was to turn off the monitor, and then hit ctrl+alt+backspace......wait a few seconds, and turn the monitor back on. This would fix the issue for me.

thanks for the reply, but it didn't work. It appears that the shutdown screen is shifted way down to the lower right, out of the visible area of the monitor except just enough of the login box to log in. When I log into the KDE environment, all is perfect.

KDE desktop--
go--start (red hat/kde symbol)--control center--system administration--login manager--font--and see if the font size is jacked up too big--if in doubt select default, lower left side. then apply and exit and see if that helps some.

I just fixed my problem..........I forgot to run "fglrxconfig" after installing the ATI drivers. All is once again good ,YAY.
When all else fails......read the release notes :)
