Hi,

I have two Windows partitons that I need to mount.

I have set up the moun tpoints and written the lines into /etc/fstab but the ntfs wont mount at all.

fs ntfs not supported by kernel. (2.11)

and I can access the vfat, but as a standard user i can not writem, even with unmask=0 in the fstab line.

Any ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks,

Barry Smith

Bytesniper,

Thanks for the URL, I will look into it.

If anyone can assist with the writting to vfat as a standard user, I would be grateful as this is a major holdback with me being able to use Linux. (All my files are on Windows and I want be able to move them to a nutral location where I can work on them from either OS.)

Thanks,

Barry Smith
