Sound Problems

i only have had one problem with the FC4 tests;
i have a SoundBlaster Live! value, and while the sound card is detected and i can play music and such, all of the sound that is produceds comes out of the rear L+R and Sub on my speker system -> all cables are correctly pluged into my computer and all are working perfectly cause when in windows, i get sound for frount L+R, rear L+R, center, and sub
i have no idea how to fix this problem - can anyone help me?
i am curruently using kernal 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4

check your balance/fade mute settings using alsamixer

/usr/bin/alsamixer

Open your volume control center, for some reason the PMC bar is muted by defualt and that causes the problem of no sound.

is there a way to uninstall/reinstall the drivers(term?) for the card? as neathre of the above steps worked... its realy starting to bug me...

-> i will be doing a format-install of FC4 when it comes out... i would just love to know how to fix this prob if it comes up again in the future...
