I've seen some screen shots of various gnome desktops and some have some really neat "desklets" apps that show various information (weather, cpu info, news etc). Of cource being the techno geeks we are, we want something really futuristic looking so I spend last night looking for some desktop enchanments for gnome (to a lesser extent kde) along that theme ...
I didn't find tooo much except gDesklets ( http://gdesklets.gnomedesktop.org/ ). Some nice ones, a lot of buggy ones, nothing really fitting the metalic futuristic theme I'm looking for so I'm wondering if anyone has any opinions on where else to get such applications or other gnome/kde desktop enchanments (and themes)?
