SHORT SUMMARY
When I try to install fedora core 3 onto a scsi system I get the error: "The fedora CD was not found on any of your local CD rom drives."
DETAILED INFORMATION
I have an oldish machine with scsi drives (one CDROM and one hard drive). I downloaded the fedora core 3 disks and carefully checked the MD5 values of each image before burning (and they all matched :)). I also asked it to check the media with the command "linux mediacheck". It does a lot of tests (which all seemed to be OK) and then said "Loading aic7xxx driver".
I enter my language and my keyboard and then it says "what type of media contains the packages to be installed". I select "Local cdrom" and it says.... "The fedora CD was not found on any of your local CD rom drives."
QUESTION
Is there some command I can type at the install prompt that will force it to mount the scsi drive? Or force it to load the appropriate driver?
Thanks
Dave
