:) Fedora Rocks :)
I have tied 3 other distros (RH9,MDK10,Slack9.1) and Fedora Core 3 is the best. There were bugs in my installation, but thanks to updates I have everything running. I thank DAG, Freshrpms, and NewRpms for filling in the blanks. There are some awsome games that are available in package porm on the formentioned sites. RH9 was too out of date, I can't afford the MDK club, and slackware is too terminal based. I would like to thank the FC3 development team for providing a good linux base, and everyone who posts questions and awnsers to all of the linux forums. Without your help I would not have been able to fix my umask problems, or known wich video card to buy. I have an Nvidia and I must say that if you run Linux, buy an Nvidia and sove all of your problems. I love Linux and wish that I could port all of my windows games so that I wouldn't have to dual boot. Linux has come a long way since RH9, it's become a solid OS that is robust enough to make for a great desktop!

thats quite positive and what i believe all of this is all about. Hopefully you will be upgrading to fc4 when it comes out to assist in the development of fedora even more, and if you want to get even more involved, start installing the test versions and helping to get all of the problems out of them for everybody else.

You are not obliged to jump to FC4 just because its out soon. As in my situation if FC3 works great there is no need for FC4 or FC5, possibly FC6.

FC3 does rock and I'm sure FC4 will be even better. As a rule of thumb, what is in the present "stable" FC distro largely will be in or make-workable-with the next "stable" release of RH. So RH4 should seem pretty comfortable for the FC3 aware. What I've seen of the RHCE study aids bears it out. Not like learning Ubuntu and then trying to use Gentoo every day.

I'm going to stick with FC3 as long as I can and probably won't have a hard time given that FC2 still has so many packages floating about. However, FC4 will get installed eventually on one box or another.

Got say that compared to other Linux Distros out there FC3 has got to be the most user firendly polished Linux Distro I have ever used and when FC4 arrives that will probably be another milestone.

Once codeweaver bring out there new crossover office I should be able to run dreamweaver and photoshop properly this means I can 100% migrate becuase these are the only two programmes I have to use Windows for.

What with the new improvments to X coming along and more vendors listening its an exciting time.
