gtkam serial port

Been gone for awhile. Has anybody ever figured out how to get gtkam to
read from the serial port? I have a digital camera with a serial
connection, and gtkam assumes I have a USB.

Tell it different. The current gtkam lets you choose the input source. But
the main problem with gtkam is permissions (this is true for both serial
