Hi everybody,
I've got a laptop with a ALC201 AC'97 audio chip on an Intel chipset .
The sound works fine on my fedora core 3 but I don't have any midi output.
For instance when I try to run midi software, they can find any /dev/midi device.
I am running Guitar pro on wine, it works but when I start to play the tablature, it can't because there isn't any midi device detected.
I wonder if I haven't installed a midi package needed to have a midi output on a AC'97 audio chip ?
Or if there isn't any, can I find a way to simulate a midi output ??
Thanks for your answers
