HI I am new to FC3 and need some help.

I am having trouble with audio and need to install the Nforce driver, I have downloaded it and tried to run it in terminal as root. I get an error message that tells me to recompile the kernel. How do I do this????

Hello, I thought that i needed to install the Nforce drivers so i could hear the sound for my Motherboard too, BUT i didn't. All you have to do is double click the speaker icon in the top right of your desktop, then mate sure everything IS NOT set on mute, so make sure there everything is unchecked. Also try moving the bars up to the max. I know it sounds basic but it worked for me and my mate who both have Nforce audio.

P.S > I am also a noobie so sorry if i explained this bad but you have to do the similar thing as you would to windows if you wanted to make the sound louder.

Haha ok cool. Glad to help out. The funny thing is on Fedora you don't need to install any audio drivers (well in my case) but on windows to get sound i have to install drivers.
