The only advise I can give is to reburn your cd. When it gives that error it is usually correct.

Maybe you didn't burn the ISO properly.
Did you copy the ISO onto the CD, or did you actually use the ISO as an image

I checked the checksums provided from the server where I downloaded the ISO images from. If you do a search on MD5 you will find ways of checking your downloaded images. If it is only CD2 that does not work, then I assume the way you burn your ISO images is correct as CD1 is fine?
I used EasyCD Creator 5 and used File -> Record from CD image.
The installation of FC3 also offered me the option of checking the disks. What was the outcome of that?

What do you mean you burnt it at the slowest speed?
If you burn it at a slow speed, it is the same as if you burnt it at a regular speed.

I have Windows XP already installed on a new computer I bought. I have partitioned the hard drive so I could install Fedora on a separate partition. Has anyone else had success doing this? I can't get my computer to boot from the CD. I changed the boot order in the BIOS, so I guess the data on my CD isn't correct. Any ideas?
