Hello,

I just installed a Linux Redhat 8.0 server choosing french language. When I
use telnet to connect to it (xterm emulator), I can't get a good character
mapping for characters like é, è, û, ù, ... using "vi" or when I type a
command like "ls -l" (date column). When I type those characters on the
command line ($ echo "éèûô" ), they display fine.
Does anybody knows what I could do to define the good character mapping ?

Thanks
AR
