everything works fine for me except the sound. if i use the oss plug-in its either static or if i specify the devices (/dev/dsp0, /dev/mixer0..etc) i cant have sounds from other programs. the alsa plugin gives NO sound at all. when running 32bit distro(running fc3 x86_64 right now) i dont have this problem, the alsa plugin works fine. what is your config file look like? thanks.

You're lucky , I couldn't even install cedega on my FC3 x86_64 distro.
I installed p2play but when I run it and select to download the latest cedega version I just has the message "Corrupted file please try again ".
I didn't have the problem with the 32 bits version of FC3.
Sorry I can't help you.

The alsa sound probably isn't working due to the snd-ioctl32 not being loaded. Do "modprobe snd-ioctl32" as root and try the Point2play sound test again. It should work, I however am still having problems with alsa sound in games.

perhaps p2play isnt x86_64 compatible? cause regular cedega works alright.
I followed your suggestion, downloaded and installed the Cedega RPM. No error message during the install procedure.
Installed Collin McRae 2 rally game, then again no error during the install procedure of that game.
Tried to run the game and just get a blank screen, but I suck at configuring Cedega :)
So, I still has some hope.
Collin McRae2 was running ( but very slowly ) on FC3 x86 version, but of course as p2play was running allright it was a lot easier for me to configure cedega.
Good luck with WOW

what version of cedega do you have? do you have glx working correctly? does it drop any errors to the console?
