Hello all,
I have a KWorld KW-TV883DVR-Pro tv card. I have not been able
to locate anything regarding getting this card to work on RH 9.0.
I emailed the company and they have not yet replied. Has anyone
got one of these and will it work in RH ? If so, how did you get
it to work?
Thanks,
Allen

I have 3 Hauppauge Win TV cards in my Linux box running 7.3. These cards
employ a BookTree chip set so they are compatible with Linux. I am using
them to stream live video feeds around my house. You can seem them here:

http://stormfront.dnsalias.net/front_cam.html
http://stormfront.dnsalias.net/garage_cam.html
You will require RealNetworks RealPlay available at http://www.real.com/
(look at top right for free player).
Linux will recognize these devices at boot. If your "card" employs the
booktree chip set then you should be ok. If it does not then I am not sure
what your options are.
