Is it/will it be possible with FC4 and Reiser4?

It is "possible", though not trivial......
And no, it won't work "out of the box"........
Encrypted filessystems place a "decryption" function between a "logical" disk read, and a "physical" disk read. This is NOT available for a "vanilla" Linux install.
Though it is not incredibly complex to set up indivual partitions that are encrypted AFTER the install....
Tnen you can just copy "existing" filesystems/directories to the new encrypted partition(s).........

So, after installing, I just mark a partition as Encrypted, format it the right way, dd away to glory, and then just point grub to it, instead of the old one?
Something seems not right about this picture - how will grub read /boot/vmlinuz or whatever off of a Encrypted FS, since IT is not equipped for this (the encryption decoding comes AFTER the kernel has loaded)?
Any guides?
Thanks very much for your help.
