Before and after running up2date the problems still remain. I've tried various settings in video with no change in one of the problems, which is random lockups. Didn't have this problem in FC3.
Also, I think this is more to do with some file not being configured properly after yumdownload/install vs a problem with the system as a whole, but I cannot kill other tanks.
I can kill myself, which is why I think it's a conf error. But you may feel differently.
Any questions or suggestions?
