FC4 - Test2 random freezes?

Fotr the first time in my life I have done a Linux upgrade rather than a fresh install. Anyways after upgrading from Fc3 to FC4 Test 2 I am seeing random freezes on my workstation - everything just stops - X freezes and I am unable to kill X or do anything.

There is nothing in syslog.

Anyone seen this before? Going to do a fresh install but I'd love some feedback?

try to do a fresh install and see if problem goes away. FC4 is not stable to update the stable release...
