Hi all, there is a Problem for me.

First my System :

Dell Dimension XPs Gen3
Intel 925px Chipset
2 Gig of Ram
Nvidia 6800 (PCI-X)
newest NV Linux Drivers from nvidia.com

Now the Problem, when FC4T2 boots up, and Udev was loaded my Screen went Black after the Atuodetection of the Devices has endet.

I have testet some Walkarounds like to autoload the nvidia kernel module in the modules file with "alias nvidia0 nvidia", or to make the devices in /dev/ per hand and link all this to the udev directorys in /etc.

But nothing will help.

Can someone give me a little Tip ?

Thanks

Greg

There is a post here (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=26260) which explains how to use the Nvidia drivers with FC3. It should work with FC4T2.

What suggests to you that this is a udev problem? Just that one of the last things you see is udev? Can it be that RHGB is the problem instead? To test this, press 'a' at the grub prompt

edit the kernel commandline to remove

RHGB

press enter to boot.
