i'll go straight to the point. :D

i've just installed FC4T2 with default kernel 2.6.11 and when i plugged my DKU-5 nokia data cable (based on Texas Instrument Serial-to-USB TUSB3410) it returns this message (dmesg):

...text ommited...
ti_usb_3410_5052 2-2:1.0: TI USB 3410 1 port adapter converter detected
ti_usb_3410_5052: probe of 2-2:1.0 failed with error -5
...text ommited...

now where is the '/dev/ttyUSB0'??????

the ti_usb_3410_5052 is included in kernel 2.6.11, correct? unlikely in kernel 2.6.10 (on FC3), the ti_usb_3410_5052 module have to be added manually and it working very fine...plugged my DKU-5 to USB and it's detected correctly as '/dev/ttyUSB0'.

do i have install manually the module??? even if both module have the same version??(ver 1.0)

anyone who cares to explain what's going on???

sorry for my bad english :D

thanks...

okay...problem solved.... :D
just re-install manually the module and viola.. i'm online with this FC4t2 :D
but it's kinda dissapointing...the guys who write this module from www.brimson.com said that this module is already installed in kernel 2.6.11, actually..it doesn't working...
