Could anyone make vmware work in Fedora Core 4 Test 2?
vmware-config.pl seems to do its job, but the program do not start.

same problem here tried using /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl and here is what I get in the end
Starting VMware services:
Virtual machine monitor [ OK ]
Virtual ethernet [ OK ]
Bridged networking on /dev/vmnet0 [FAILED]
Host-only networking on /dev/vmnet1 (background) [ OK ]
Host-only networking on /dev/vmnet8 (background) [ OK ]
NAT service on /dev/vmnet8 [ OK ]
#vmware (gives me this afterwards)
vmware is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for this system. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command:
/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl.
