FC4T2, a cuple of dobuts

1) Where is OpenOffice? after upgrade fron FC3, i had just databse icon of OO. the rest is missing
2) Nvidia installer can't find the KERNEL SOURCES. No yum repo seems to have them. FC2 and FC3 don't need sources, Why FC4 need them?

1) FC4 uses the new beta version of openoffice, you might have to install that on it's own.. try yum install openoffice-*
2) Nvidia installer always needs kernel sources, it's just a matter of whether they're installed or not.
If you've upgraded to the latest kernel, you can run up2date --get-source kernel or install the kernel-devel package for your kernel version

Thanks for this advices. Openoffice is now there. at least the icons. and i cuold build the nvidia module, but it badly fail to load. didn't see any wrong in the log. but don't load. And, of course, X doesn't start. for now i'm using the nv native fedora driver.

keep looking for a solution.

Did you try the 7xxx or the previous ones? i think the 6xxx drivers won't compile, but the 7xxx ones should.
