Problem with SB Live 24 bit

As far as I saw many people have problems with their SB Live 24 Bit card.

I have the same card and also have the problem with it on Fedora Core 3. But it is very strange how I solved it.
First I Installed all the RPM's of Alsa 1.0.8 (can be found at atrpms.net)

Then When I rebooted my computer, Kudzu ask me if I want to configurate my SoundCard. So I did that.
Everything was working, Soundcard was found. But the sound of playing it was crap!
After spending 2 weeks to find out what It might be. I tried something else.

I went to the OSS Project site and Downloaded the latest one.
Followed the instructions and OSS install will do the rest later on.
Did that, OSS did a checkup on my soundcard, speakers and found all the speakers, found even my soundcard and also NO crap sound.

So As far as I can tell, I keep it on OSS soundplugin. It is better for me :-)
