Grub gives Error 13

I have just installed FC4t2 on a test system.
After the INstallation the mashine reboots.
Grub let me choose the kernel and then ther is an
Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executeable format
DId anyone have this problem before?
What can i do?

In your BIOS, is there a setting for LBA for the drive? Maybe try to change this?

Sounds like grub is not getting what is expected when it reaches out into your HDD to continue the booting action.

no there is no setting for LBA, is an old dell pc
What fs can be used for /boot ?
