I have the same problem on FC3.

mine does it too, has to do with AMD Cool'nQuiet... check to see if its enabled in the bios, if your like mobo is like mine it automaticly enables when there is one stick of memory in the dimm0 slot and disables when you got more than one stick of memory..... kinda silly....
