Hello,

With the current activity rate it has been raised to my attention that quite a few posts are going unanswered. We all appreciate the people that take the time to answer posts, however I realize that some slip through the crack. In order to help with this problem below is a search url that will list all unanswered threads within the last week. So if you are out looking to answer some questions, this link is a great one to bookmark. We appreciate your help with this, and by answering questions you are truly helping this forum be the great community it has become.

Search URL (http://forum.fedoraforum.org/search.php?do=process&replyless=1&replylimit=0&dontcache=1&exclude=12,24,25&order=asc)

running this search gmane fedora-list (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/search.php?searchid=780506) resulted in 102 hits

I will be working on getting a revised search up there, as I did notice that fact. Thank you. This should be finalized tomorrow tonight.

Speaking of search.. Is the some specific reason why you allow unregistered users to browse and read the forum, but NOT allow them to search the forum? When I try to access the search page, the forum just gives me an ugly message stating that I should log in before I'm allowed to search.

It is integrated feature of vBulletin. So it is not our "fault".

As a suggestion... how about making the "new posts" link point to the above URL, and sorting the topics in ascending order by number of posts?

I think that the current New Posts link is good enough, because new posts are too fresh to mark them as 'unresolved for a long time'.

Other links can just be used as bookmarks.
