We had some unexpected downtime for a couple of hours this morning. We apologise for any inconvienience that this may have caused.

well, it was 'unexpected' for a lot of people (my pda started alerting me at 2.15am or so ;)

More info:

some 10-20,000 servers in one of the biggest datacenters were actually affected.
fedoraforum.org 4 dual xeon server lost connectivity from 2.10am to 4am PST
In any case we always have an up to the second snapshot of all fedoraforum.org data in an other datacenter / state.

So that's what it was I thought it was another DOS.

When I tried to log on earlier today it said something to the effect of "not accepting foreign login"
something like that...
