I've installed FC3 on a computer with GF6800 and Samsung SM 959NF.
Installing the nvidia drivers went OK, but I have problems with configuring the monitor properly. To be exact: I don't know how to set appropriate refresh rate.
On Windows I get 100Hz on 1280x960 and I would very much like to get the same on linux.

And I'm a Linux newbie, so so far I don't know much about configuring X.

Thx in advance

Are you running Gnome? In that case, look in the Applications menu under System settings (not sure what the exact name is in English, I'm using the Swedish locale). There should be an applet there called Screen or something. It has a hardware tab where you can choose your monitor and graphics card.

When you've configured those, you can set the refresh rate and resolution using another applet under Settings, called Resolution or somesuch.

I'm running KDE. But I'll switch to gnome and try to set this up from there.
