[root@fbi backup]# mc
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
[root@fbi backup]#
???? I'm doing this via ssh console what is that?

-bash-3.00$ mc
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
-bash-3.00$

it is something from putty but don't know what since it was ok also now if I try with another similar tool it doesn't give that error

The message
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
appears when trying to open an X application while no X server is running on the putty client. Install and start for example Xming (http://sourceforge.net/projects/xming) to solve the problem.
