ITE821x/FC4 Test Installtion

Hello, i have been running FC3 with an updated kernel at some point the updated kernel saw my ITE8212 raid card which is supported by it821x.ko i would assume the FC4 would have a newer kernel and beable to see this raidcard and beable to install directly onto a mirrored raid array.. which is what im trying to do.. just for some reason it cannot find the card.. =(

it821x.ko was built as a module in the FC3 2.6.10 kernel, but it looks like it is built into the main kernel of 2.6.11 including FC4. That it isn't recognizing your drives is either
1) Is the driver even capable of recognizing the "RAID" arrays on that controller?
2) It is an upstream kernel bug, go report at bugzilla.kernel.org
3) Your motherboard is buggy
