I wish there were a way to search for a text string in either/or topic/body. Perhaps an archive of everything? I just went thru 34 pages looking for a couple of posts (there were only 4 pages available when I last looked), and didn't find what I wanted to find. Of course, I'm 62 and vision isn't that great...but....

actually, if it worked, it would be great. It doesn't seem to scan the msg body in real life.

One way to cut down the number of threads is to use the "+" sign in 'keywords'... for instance, "xmms" will list 500 threads and "soundcard" will also list 500 threads, but "xmms + soundcard" will give you 61 threads which contain BOTH words.

Hope that helps your poor old tired eyes - it works with my 60 yr. old ones! ;)

This appears at the bottom of topics when you view them. Press the + icon to open it if it is not already.

If you can remember the forum it was posted in or the poster you can limit your search by those.
