I'm afraid I don't quite understand your question. Could you rephrase please?
Depending on the extend of the problem you may have found another of the many expected bugs in the test1 beta. If something doesn't work in a test rel, it's not a surprise. (esp. in a test1 release).
If you're saying you can't connect to the Internet with your ADSL account, have you ran through the setup under System Tools -> Internet Configuration Wizard?

[Thank you for your reply,
Question is that running a modem speedtouch
ADSL, which is very common here in Europe,
is not considered in FC2 at all.
We are quite familiar with the setup of
ALCATEL speedtouch, and had no problems
to connect to the internet with FEDORA-CORE1. or previous RH-distros
The setup of this router and the necessary scripts are widely discussed on the internet
and we have good reference.
But with the new kernel 2.6 the usual install routine fails.
FACT1: the speedtouch modem ALCATEL is recognize by the system!!!!
//proc/bus/usb/devices.
FACT2: the usual routine of the commands
1) modem_run -f /pathto microcode/mgmt.o -m
fails. The modem is not even recogized.
FACT3;
the pollowing command: pppd call adsl
produces a lot of error messages.
Any help is welcome !!
Thank you
