Hi everybody,
I’m desperately looking for a PCMCIA WLAN card for Fedora Core 2.
I’ve searched the net and forum trying to get some information about which card is “surely” working but didn’t work it out  .
Can anyone help me suggesting me what card to buy and where (a link would be appreciated)? :D
Thanks a lot,
topograsso

I am using this wireless card (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=43718) hassle free.

My Netgear WG511 works perfectly and was easily installed. It uses the prism54 drivers which are already a part of FC2. Make sure you get the "Made in Taiwan" version. The "Made in China" uses another non-prism54 chipset. The box I picked up at the brick-n-mortar retailer said Taiwan right on the box.

Hi guys
thanks a lot for your help.
I've been trying to buy the card suggested by imdeemvp but it unfortunately is undeliverable outside the USA (I’m in Europe). I got the communication this morning. :(
The next step is then to try and buy the Netgear card suggested by chili555. Thank you for the tip about the origin of the card.
I found a shop selling the card and I will get in touch with them in order to check where the card comes from.
I’ll keep you informed.
Thanks again,
