Compaq Presario PC soundcard not detected

A couple of weeks ago I installed Fedora Core 3 on my Compaq Presario PC (model SR1319ES). So far everything works fine but the soundcard that has not been detected. I have looked everywhere without success :confused:

Can anyone help ?

This is the info I think could be useful:
Hardware:
Pentium 4, 3.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM
Motherboard AsusTeK PTGD1-LA (Bios AMI)
Soundcard (in the motherboard) Realtek HD Audio

Software
Fedora Core 3, Kernel version 2.6.9-1.667 (dual boot with WinXP SP2)

If I execute the command system-config-soundcard I get the message "No soundcards detected"
